Company History
|
Open World Interactive, Inc. was founded in 1995 to provide marketing and
sales services to new ventures and international companies in the CD-ROM market. Later
that year the company shifted its focus to the emerging internet business. It created
The Rogue Market. The Rogue Market is the first stock market where players buy
and sell shares in film idols, rock stars, sports heroes, politicians, and fashion models.
The Washington Post called it "one of the most creative new web sites."
And in 1998 PC Magazine named The Rogue Market one of the TOP 100
web sites on the entire internet. The site has now been spun off to its own company,
Rogue Market, Inc.
Today, Open World Interactive is focused on developing and expanding new markets that draw
on the power of a networked world. Its MarketPilots service brings together a network of top
executives and consultants to provide strategy, marketing and business development support
to a range of companies, governments and trade organizations in the US and Europe. Venture
Navigator showcases make the connection between the venture capital of the United States and
the most exciting business opportunities beyond our borders. The SIG meetings draw on the
combined expertise of thousands of sales, marketing, international and technology professionals.
And the Rogue Market continues to provide a pop culture experience that integrates the interactions
of thousands of players simultaneously.
The power of the network is just beginning to be realized. It is foremost about connecting people,
their skills and their imaginations. Open World Interactive will continue to explore and develop
products and services that harness the network of minds and talents.
